I don't like it! I don't want it! But I've got it! And once you have it, you always have it. But I can do something about it and that is what this blog is about. My journey to better health and wellness. Yes, for the rest of my life!!!

.
So, I can't figure out this blood sugar thing. It was high when I got up at 8:00 am and after eating fruit and cream oatmeal with added plain oatmeal and half of a banana. And after my usual morning OJ with pills, I only had a few cups of coffee with Splenda and half n half only to have a 92 Random Blood Sugar (RBS) a few hours later. I just don't get it. But, I still am in constant watch of what I eat. I may have a "splurge" here and there but I sure keep tabs on how often. Not that that even means anything. Oh well, I'll just keep plugging along. The A1C is the real test of where my blood sugars are over a 3 month period so that one counts as being more accurate.
.
I took some time off from walking as I wasn't in "top" form last week and this weekend. It felt good to relax some. I am glad to be back walking today. It was a great day for it. I look forward to another month of walking goal achievement and to continue to lose weight and find new clothes to fit better. My capris are hanging on me! Not that that's a bad thing!
