KJ went out with me. He couldn't keep up but he tried. I was glad he came with me. He got my pace improved and it gave me a good time. I also did upper body at PF with a mile on the elyptical so I am at even numbers again. Only 10 to go to hit the thousand I hoped for last year.

I wasn't going to go out today but I had two "moments" today that required me to get out and clear my thinking - running always does that for me. I'm glad for that. If I could, I would run twice a day just to give myself a double daily dose of endorphins. Unfortunately, my legs and joints won't allow it. But, I do what I can, when I can.

Two more days. Another one on the treadmill and one more outdoors. Weather getting hot...but that's what I have to do to keep my body hot, too!!! Now, it's back to the gym tomorrow for an upper body workout plus elyptical and abds...stay tuned.

I walked outside Saturday since my calves were still sore. I needed the cardio but not the stress so I figured it was the next best thing. I had minimal soreness during and afterwards. Today I woke up and stretched and my calves felt pretty good but during the day, I could tell they would get sore when walked. So, I got on the treadmil tonight (only chnace to exercise today) and did a 16+ minute mile pace. My legs feel okay. I stretched afterwards again. Showered and I feel pretty good - maybe ready for a slower run tomorrow.
