Overcast days have to be used. I was going to take a day off but with the temp being about 80 degrees at 6 pm, I had to make the best of it. I am skipping tomorrow since it's KJ's band performance. So, I did a good week. maybe I will even do a 2 mile run on Sat. to round out the week at 530 miles.

Just Doin' It!

Okay, I did another 7 miles. 4 walking and 3 running. It seems to be working for me right now. The sun was out about 20 minutes of the time I was doing my thing. I took a quick break after the first two miles to the south to refill the water and take a potty break. My legs are feeling it right now but my recovery seems to be much quicker than past months. If I take a very warm salt bath tonight, it helps even more because I can stretch in the tub. My flexibility isn't what I would like it to be but I can work on that slowly. I'm just glad that I don't have the shin or ankle problems I had in the past. Between the massage therapy and the weight training, I think I have the edge now.

I have some catchin' up to do. Slowly, but surely, I will hit my 1,000 miles this year. My 7 miles included 2.5 miles of running. This was yesterday. Today, I took a break.
