Well, if I run 2 miles at a time, I won't hit my thousand for the year but in the big picture, it's about health and not particular numbers. I am trying to lose that last 10 lbs and I know that it will be more likely that I do it by running instead of walking, even if I do less mileage. The big thing to remember is not to injure myself.
